  • Guests will have the whole property to themselves, with self-check-in, we provide you with your unique access code to the key box a day before arrival. As well as more helpful information to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

    Off-street parking for one car (or two depending on the size). There is also plenty of free street parking as well if you prefer. Please be aware of the large Norfolk Pine in the driveway, esp when backing out!

  • Henna has two bedrooms, the main room features a freestanding bath, luxurious king bed and ensuite.

    The second bedroom has a Queen bed and robes with it’s own personality and direct access to the bathroom and separate toilet right down the hall.

    Open plan living and dining has a cosy feel with a lux green velvet couch and two armchairs, table for four and full kitchen.

    The open fireplace features prominently, becoming a main feature of the space, with the large windows letting in lots of light and a great space for people-watching.

    Out the back is a modest courtyard with table for four and egg hanging chair as well as festoon lights for that moody vibe.

  • Henna faces South West and enjoys beautiful afternoon sun streaming in the front windows and gorgeous morning sun enjoyed in the back courtyard. Perfect for those late summer nights.

    We are an easy stroll to the centre of town, around 10mins walk get you right in amongst it.

    NOTE: Henna is centrally located on a corner of two streets, and close to the train station, so there is some street and train noise, please be aware of this if you are a light sleeper or noise-sensitive.

  • All the basics are here for you and ready to help make your stay as comfortable as possible.

    Teas, coffee, oil, salt and pepper and a small milk to get your started.

    We also supply enough wood to enjoy two good fires during your stay (more can be purchased from local service stations), but with each room containing ducted heating you won’t have to worry about being too hot or cold.

    Guests of Henna are also lucky enough to enjoy the marvelous locally made Flockhart Sticky Chai. Created by the lovely Ruth just down the road in Port Fairy.

    Best enjoyed snuggled up next to the open fireplace while listening to your favourite vinyl on our record player, or in our hanging chair in your private courtyard.

  • Henna boasts an amazing ducted heating and cooling system throughout to keep you toasty and warm or nice and cool all year round, with the fireplace adding ambience rather than primary heating.

    Wood, firelighters, and kindling are supplied for 1-2 good fires - if you want to grab more wood and kindling it is available at most local petrol stations or Bunnings.

  • Henna has two gorgeously renovated bathrooms with quality terrazzo tiles that give them stylish pops of colour.

    As well as double-headed shower, with plenty of room for two.

    The second bathroom is just down the hall with a seperate toilet right next door.

    From Shampoo, Conditioner and Bodywash, Who Gives a Crap toilet paper and hairdryers, and of course soft Sheridan towels - we have all your need.

    The modern freestanding bath in the main bedroom is so inviting you won’t be able to resist a long soak.

    We supply locally made bath salts, Dindi Natural Bubble Bath which in conjunction with our local hand-poured Australiana candle creates the perfect ambience for relaxation.

  • Check-in time is 2pm and Check-out time is 10am. Checking in is contactless, therefore, late check-in is not an issue.

    If the property is ready earlier than 2pm we will let you know via text.

    Unfortunately, we cannot offer late check-out as our housekeeper is booked to changeover the space for our next guests.

  • While we adore furry friends, please note that we cannot accommodate pets due to our cleaning protocols and future guests with allergies.

  • Henna is an ideal getaway for 2-4 adults, while children are welcome, specific amenities for infants and toddlers, such as cots and highchairs, are not provided. You are more than welcome to bring your own.

    The house is not baby/toddler-proofed with an open fireplace and breakables. We understand families would love to stay and trust parents' judgment in regards to this. We understand accidents happen and things break, just let us know so we can replace or fix it for the next guests :)

    Please do not let children under 12 use the Record Player without supervision.

  • If you leave something behind, we’ll hold onto it for 7 days. We're happy to post it back to you at your expense. After that, unclaimed items will be donated or responsibly disposed of.

    So make sure you have a good look around before you leave :)

  • We appreciate your help in keeping the space tidy. Additional cleaning fees will apply for excessive mess or heavily soiled linens and towels beyond standard use. Damages will be billed to guests.
